Brothers On A Quest was founded by the De Mint family after their three sons were diagnosed with Ataxia with Oculomotor Apraxia Type 2 (AOA2), a rare and debilitating neurological disease that robs young people of their mobility, coordination, and independence. With no known cure, families like the De Mints are left to navigate unimaginable challenges — but through determination, advocacy, and community, they’ve built something extraordinary.

This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to be part of that journey. Your donations directly fund groundbreaking research at UCLA, led by Dr. Brent Fogel, the only clinician-scientist in the world studying new treatments for AOA2. Together, we’re not just raising funds — we’re raising hope.
